Embraced by organically flowing, masonry/stucco courtyards, the design is reminiscent of many homes in the Tucson foothills. Its interior character is indelibly stamped by handcrafted Mexican terracotta saltillo tile flooring throughout, handpainted talavera tile accents & classic wood-beamed ceilngs. Thoughtfully designed & carefully sited on the natural desert by its artisan owner-builders, set way back for privacy, oriented for sun movement & protected views, & the least impact on its surrounding natural environment. Before 'upcycle' or 'repurpose' were household words, its Interior doors & custom cabinetry were crafted of wood salvaged from NMSU Science Hall. Feel re-connected to Nature, at peace & soulnurished in the seclusion.
